Final Report
Inspire by the American Abstract Painter Mark Rothko, my emotions are painted as the red blob at the top. The background is black to show my current stat of mind. It was completely dark and gloomy like the day I painted it in the art studio. The white line represents the little light and hope I have for the day because going to my art classes are always the highlight of my day. The mix of red and black on the bottom of the canvas is to show that my emotions can be stirred up and block underneath all the dark days.

This ring necklace that I have chose to paint is very important to me. I am a first generation college student and entering college was the biggest thing I had ever had to do by myself. The summer before my college life started, I met my significant other and gave me this ring necklace before he had to go to Virginia Tech while I stayed at home to attend George Mason.
